What are Fragrance Oils?

Fragrance oils are manufactured products. Some are synthetic, some contain synthetic components in a carrier (base) oil mixed with natural products.

What are Perfume Oils?

Perfume Oils are made to be worn on the body. They can be all natural as in an ATTAR, or manufactured containing natural components.

An attar is a ALL NATURAL product made from ESSENTIAL OILS. It is a mixture of specific essential oils to formulate a perfume. This may seem unusual, however when the formulation is complete it is then distilled INTO a HIGH QUALITY SANDALWOOD OIL rendering the finished perfume as a 100% Natural Perfume.

What is CPO Perfume Oil?

A CPO is a Concentrated Perfume Oil. CPO Perfume Oils can be worn on the body. It's a stronger fragrance than a Premium Grade "A" perfume oil.

Is there Any Alcohol In The Parfumerie's Perfume Oils?

NO. ALL of our Perfume Oils, Attar's and Essential Oil, are 100% FREE FROM ALCOHOL. We never use alcohol in our products.

Musk Oils

Musk & The Myth

First, contrary to popular belief, not all musks are robust, overpowering and intense. They are not all heavy and dark notes such as leather and unforgiving deep earthy or dense woody aromas. Many of the musks of perfumery are in fact… exactly the opposite!

While they can be described as earthy, woody, animalistic and intoxicating, they are also comparable to the warm sensuous smell of one’s skin… but even better… subtle, light, powdery, wooly, slightly sweaty yet slightly sweet, an aroma of neutral nothingness! One of the best parts about musk in fragrances, is that they tend to wear long and adjust to each person’s body chemistry, hence, having aphrodisiac elements.

In perfumery, musks are balancing and lingering with depth and warmth. They bring it all together, encompassing all the individual notes to create a symphony of aroma.

Some characteristics of musks are:

Slightly sweet, floral, powdery & fresh. A clean scent.

More intense and slightly “woodier” baring a metallic undertone, such as our Musk Al Tahara
Soapy clean aroma with fruity undertones, which magnificently replicates ambrette seed oil
Warm vanilla, woods and spices make an excellent accompaniment to sweet/floral ingredients heightening their intensity
