The Scent of a Rose… Creatively speaking, I have always found the scent of a rose intoxicating… intriguing and forever making me yearn for more. As I close my eyes I recall as a young child my initial meeting of this aroma. Our meeting was by chance… by the passing of a wispy breeze on a warm sunny day. It was then that I realized that this beautiful aroma could affect aura… my mood.. it was calming, soothing, comforting and relaxing. As I grew into this fascinating world of perfume, I began to realize that… not all roses are created equal. Each have their own distinctive compilation of notes; they radiate personality characteristics that are parallel to that of our emotions and moods. Take a moment and slightly inhale… you might be surprisingly pleased to find rose aromas that can be colorful and playful, warm and dense, fruity and sweet, intoxicating, elegant and graceful as well as simple and green. Some rose aromas are complex and heady yet, can have an earthy component. Then there are those pungent intense compilations that end with a soft powdery dry down. Rose oils are perfect for blending. For example, our Tea Rose is fresh and invigorating when blended with our Imported Bergamot… or perhaps blending our Rose Wardia with our Tunisian Jasmine for a sweet yet airy, romantic treat. The possibilities are endless!
